A memorial for Barry Cowsill, lost to Katrina, was hosted on Bacchus Sunday in Woldenburg Park on the banks of the Mississippi River. The New Wave Brass Band, outfitted with new instruments from NOMRF, played as we second-lined down to Barry's music-home-bar, The Kerry Irish Pub. Barry was a natural born entertainer whose family inspired The Partrige Family. "He was one of the most talented people I have ever known," Jeff said.
